“I’ve witnessed the healthcare system in more than one country — its strengths, its gaps, and the stark inequalities that many communities face. These experiences, both personal and through my family, made it clear how isolating and overwhelming illness can be when access to care is limited. Kabeer Foundation grew out of a simple, deeply felt belief: no one should face those challenges alone. It’s my way of bridging those gaps and making primary healthcare more accessible to those who’ve been left out for too long”

Recognizing the need for specialized medical care, the foundation has focused its efforts on providing surgical interventions for conditions that significantly impact individuals’ quality of life. Key focus areas being hand reconstructive plastic surgery, cleft lip and palate correction, and gastrointestinal interventions
